September 20, 2025: Columbia, MO 65203 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Smithville Warriors (Smithville, MO) and the host Hickman Kewpies (Columbia, MO), observed Smithville's volleyball team top Hickman by a count of 2-0.
With the win, Smithville improves its record to 12-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Fort Osage (Independence, MO) to encounter the Indians in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 8-5. Fort Osage won 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Platte County (Platte City, MO)
The Kewpies now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Camdenton for a Central Missouri challenge on Tuesday, September 23. Hickman will meet a Lakers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over St. Clair (St. Clair, MO). The Lakers record now stands at 12-3.
