Louisiana High School Volleyball - Southside tips Houma Christian

September 20, 2025: Youngsville, LA

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Southside Sharks volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Houma Christian Warriors.

The Sharks (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 10-2 record. In their last challenge, Central Catholic nudged Destrehan (Destrehan, LA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Warriors now own a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berwick for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. Houma Christian will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Morgan City (Morgan City, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-5.
