September 20, 2025: Wichita, KS 67207 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Trinity Celtics (Hutchinson, KS) and the host Independent Panthers (Wichita, KS), observed Trinity's volleyball team top Independent by a count of 2-0.
The Celtics (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Classical (Wichita, KS). The Saints go into the Heart of America battle with a 5-14 record. In their last battle, Classical dropped by Remington (Whitewater, KS), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Panthers now own a 0-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeast for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Independent will encounter a Golden Buffalo squad coming off a 2-0 league win over South (Wichita, KS). The Golden Buffalo record now stands at 5-5.
