Illinois High School Volleyball - Triad can't hold off Mt. Zion
September 20, 2025: Troy, IL 62294 The Mt. Zion Braves tipped the host Triad Knights volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Braves confront the Father McGivney Catholic Griffins (Glen Carbon, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 20. Mt. Zion will attempt to better on its 13-8 season record. The Griffins come into the outing with a 13-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Christ Our Rock Lutheran (Centralia, IL).
With the loss, Triad drops to 7-8 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Waterloo (Waterloo, IL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 20. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 8-1. Waterloo won 2-0 in their recent league outing against Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL)
