In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Pipestone Arrows volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds.

The Arrows (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Le Sueur-Henderson (Le Sueur, MN). The Giants come into the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Le Sueur-Henderson was defeated by Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN), 3-2, in a league test.

The Greyhounds now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart for a Tomahawk test on Saturday, September 20. New Ulm Cathedral will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cedar Mountain (Morgan, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-0.
