California High School Volleyball - Venice can't get by Thousand Oaks
September 20, 2025: Thousand Oaks, CA 91360 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Thousand Oaks Lancers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Venice Gondoliers.
The Lancers (22-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Notre Dame Academy (Los Angeles, CA). The Regal Gryphons come into the non-league challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Notre Dame Academy edged Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Gondoliers face the Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western test, on Monday, September 22. Venice will attempt to advance on its 14-5 season record. The Comets go into the test with a 6-6 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA).
