September 20, 2025: Los Angeles, CA 90066 Whitney Wildcats (Cerritos, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Whitney improves its record to 15-11 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Cleveland (Reseda, CA) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 9-5. Cleveland lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA)
The Gondoliers now own a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Venice will face a Regal Gryphons squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA). The Regal Gryphons record now stands at 9-6.
