September 21, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87112 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), saw Manzano's volleyball squad beat Highland by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Manzano upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Monarchs travel to Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Sundevils in a non-league bout on Friday, September 23. The Sundevils go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Sandia Prep lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM)
The Hornets now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host West Mesa for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 27. Highland will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-2.
