Georgia High School Softball - North Cobb holds off Lovett
September 21, 2022: Atlanta, GA 30327 North Cobb Warriors (Kennesaw, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lovett Lions (Atlanta, GA), 9-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Campbell for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 22. North Cobb will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Osborne (Marietta, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 12-8.
With the loss, Lovett falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Lions host Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a 4A Region 5 challenge on Thursday, September 22. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-10. Mt. Zion lost 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Hampton (Hampton, GA)
