September 21, 2022: San Lorenzo, CA 94580 The Making Waves Academy Marlins volleyball team (Richmond, CA), was nudged 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Redwood Christian Eagles (San Lorenzo, CA)
The Eagles (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Head-Royce (Oakland, CA). The Jayhawks enter the Bay Counties - East challenge with a 18-5 record. In their last challenge, Head-Royce nipped Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Marlins encounter the Contra Costa Christian Cougars (Walnut Creek, CA) in a Bay Counties - General challenge, on Friday, September 23. Making Waves Academy will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to San Domenico (San Anselmo, CA).
