September 21, 2022: Pocono Summit, PA 18346 In Wednesday's league contest, the Pocono Mountain East Cardinals (Swiftwater, PA) volleyball squad knocked off the host Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Cardinals battle the Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 22. Pocono Mountain East will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA).
With the loss, Pocono Mountain West falls to 1-4 on the season. The Panthers host Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA) to encounter the Bears in a EPC18 - Mountain challenge on Friday, September 23.
