September 21, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23321 In Thursday's league contest, the Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) volleyball squad knocked off the host Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Hawks battle the Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern contest, on Tuesday, September 26. Hickory will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Indian River (Chesapeake, VA).
With the loss, Western Branch drops to 4-6 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA) to battle the Wildcats in a Southeastern contest on Thursday, September 28. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 4-5.
