The Bears now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calhoun for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 5. La Vernia will play a Sandcrabs squad coming off a 12-7 non-league loss to Brazoswood (Clute, TX). The Sandcrabs record now stands at 1-1.
