September 21, 2023: North Smithfield, RI 02896 The Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) volleyball overcame the host North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, Ponaganset upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Chieftains host St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI) to face the Saints in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 26. The Saints go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
The Northmen now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Toll Gate for a non-league outing on Friday, October 13.
