September 21, 2023: Lynden, WA 98264 Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles confront the Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Ferndale will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to King's (Seattle, WA).
The Lions now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sehome for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 25. Lynden will confront a Mariners team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA). The Mariners record now stands at 6-0.
