September 21, 2023: Summit, IL 60501 In Thursday's non-league game, the Shepard Astros (Palos Heights, IL) football team knocked off the host Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL), by a final score of 30-6.
The Astros (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Richards (Oak Lawn, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record.
The Argonauts now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Blue Island Eisenhower for a non-league game on Thursday, September 28. Argo will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 18-12 league loss to Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-2.
