In Thursday's non-league game, the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) football team knocked off the host Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC), by a score of 44-24.

The Crusaders (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars come into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Athens Drive was knocked off by Rolesville (Rolesville, NC), 28-0, in a non-league game.
