Michigan High School Football - Utica drops to L'Anse Creuse
September 21, 2023: Utica, MI 48317 In Thursday's non-league game, the L'Anse Creuse Lancers (Harrison Township, MI) football team knocked off the host Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI), by a final score of 26-0.
The Lancers (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Huskies come into the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Lakeview toppled Utica Ford (Sterling Heights, MI), 42-0, in a non-league game.
The Chieftains now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roseville for a non-league game on Thursday, September 28. Utica will battle a Panthers team coming off a 21-20 non-league loss to Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.
