Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Needham over Braintree
September 21, 2023: Needham, MA 02494 Needham Rockets (Needham, MA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA), 2-0 in a non-league game.
The Rockets now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barnstable for a non-league game on Friday, September 22. Needham will meet a Red Hawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Nantucket (Nantucket, MA). The Red Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
The Wamps (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Milton (Milton, MA). The Wildcats enter the game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Milton gained a win over Fontbonne Academy (Milton, MA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
