September 21, 2023: Mount Vernon, WA 98273 The Mount Vernon Bulldogs (Mount Vernon, WA) volleyball tipped the visiting Lakewood Cougars (Arlington, WA), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, Mount Vernon upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Squalicum (Bellingham, WA) to play the Storm in a non-league outing on Monday, September 25. The Storm go into the outing with a record of 4-1. Squalicum won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA)
The Cougars now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Anacortes for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 26. Lakewood will play a Seahawks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA). The Seahawks record now stands at 5-1.
