September 21, 2023: Holly Ridge, NC 28445 The Dixon Bulldogs soccer team scored 9 points and limited the visiting Heide Trask Titans to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Thursday.
Next, the Bulldogs face the White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC) in a Coastal 3A contest, on Tuesday, September 26. Dixon will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 8-3 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Havelock (Havelock, NC).
The Titans now have a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host East Columbus for a Waccamaw 1A/2A contest on Monday, September 25. Heide Trask will face a Gators team coming off a 2-1 league win over Whiteville (Whiteville, NC). The Gators record now stands at 2-5.
