September 21, 2023: St. Johns, MI 48879 St. Johns Redwings (St. Johns, MI) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Ionia Bulldogs (Ionia, MI), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Redwings confront the Haslett Vikings (Haslett, MI) in a Capital Area - Red challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. St. Johns will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 2-1 league win over Fowlerville (Fowlerville, MI).
The Bulldogs now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sexton for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 26. Ionia will confront a Big Reds team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Kearsley (Flint, MI). The Big Reds record now stands at 2-4.
