September 21, 2023: Elk Point, SD 57025 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD) and the visiting West Sioux Falcons (Hawarden, IA), saw Elk Point-Jefferson's volleyball squad beat West Sioux by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Elk Point-Jefferson upgrades its record to 11-6 on the year. The Huskies host Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD) to play the Cubs in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 21. The Cubs go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Alcester-Hudson lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD)
The Falcons now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they host South O'Brien for a War Eagle bout on Tuesday, September 26. West Sioux will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Okoboji (Milford, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-10.
