The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Glastonbury Guardians (Glastonbury, CT) and the visiting New Britain Golden Hurricanes (New Britain, CT), saw Glastonbury's volleyball squad beat New Britain by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Glastonbury upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Guardians host Southington (Southington, CT) to battle the Blue Knights in a Central Connecticut - West contest on Tuesday, September 26. The Blue Knights come into the contest with a record of 7-3. Southington lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY)

With the loss, New Britain drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Golden hurricanes host Manchester (Manchester, CT) to battle the Red Hawks in a non-league contest on Monday, September 25. The Red Hawks come into the contest with a record of 4-3. Manchester won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Edwin O. Smith (Storrs, CT)
