September 21, 2023: Irvine, CA 92618 The Portola Bulldogs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Laguna Hills Hawks to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now have a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodbridge for a Pacific Coast game on Tuesday, September 26. Portola will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Beckman (Irvine, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-8.
The Hawks (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Citrus Valley (Redlands, CA). The Blackhawks enter the non-league game with a 10-6 record. In their last game, Citrus Valley gained a win over Redlands East Valley (Redlands, CA), 3-1, in a league game.
