September 21, 2023: Danville, IL 61832 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) and the host Schlarman Hilltoppers (Danville, IL), saw Watseka's volleyball squad beat Schlarman by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Watseka upgrades its record to 13-5 on the year. The Warriors host Peotone (Peotone, IL) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, September 22. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Peotone lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Herscher (Herscher, IL)
The Hilltoppers now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Hoopeston for a Vermilion Valley bout on Tuesday, September 26.
