Maine High School Football - Telstar overwhelmed by Bucksport
September 21, 2024: Bethel, ME 04217 The Bucksport Golden Bucks walloped the host Telstar Rebels football team by a score of 56-13 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Golden Bucks face the Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME) in a 8-Man Small North (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, September 27. Bucksport will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 65-6 league loss to Houlton/Hodgdon/Southern Aroostook/Greater Houlton Christian Academy (Houlton, ME).
The Rebels (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME). The Hawks enter the 8-Man Small South (8 Man) challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Sacopee Valley bounced Boothbay/Wiscasset (Boothbay Harbor, ME), 60-22, in a league challenge.
