California High School Football - Bellarmine College Prep thwarted by Palma
September 21, 2024: Salinas, CA 93901 Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Bellarmine College Prep Bells (San Jose, CA), 33-10 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Palma advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Chieftains travel to Soquel (Soquel, CA) to play the Knights in a battle on Thursday, October 3. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Soquel lost 19-0 in their recent non-league battle against Valley Christian (San Jose, CA)
The Bells now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Saint Francis for a match on Thursday, September 26. Bellarmine College Prep will confront a Lancers squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 1-0.
