Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Grove City knocks off Franklin
September 21, 2024: Franklin, PA 16323 The Grove City Eagles soccer squad scored 6 points and held the host Franklin Knights to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they travel to Wilmington for a District 10 Region 2 bout on Monday, September 23. Grove City will play a Greyhounds squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Girard (Girard, PA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Franklin moves to 1-10 on the year. The Knights travel to Warren (Warren, PA) to play the Dragons in a District 10 Region 6 bout on Monday, September 23. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Warren won 11-0 in their recent league bout against Meadville (Meadville, PA)
