September 21, 2024: Yorkville, IL 60560 Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Hampshire moves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Whip-Purs host Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL) to clash with the Wolves in a test on Tuesday, September 24. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Foxes now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Joliet Central for a test on Wednesday, September 25. Yorkville will clash with a Steelmen team coming off a 1-0 league win over Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Steelmen record now stands at 7-2.
