September 21, 2024: Carrollton, GA 30116 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) and the visiting Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA), observed Central's volleyball team top Rockmart by a count of 2-0.
The Lions (24-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cartersville (Cartersville, GA). The Hurricanes enter the non-league contest with a 26-0 record. In their last contest, Cartersville notched a victory over Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 21. Rockmart will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 8-8 record after their 2-0 league win over Dade County (Trenton, GA).
