September 21, 2024: Willoughby, OH 44094 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix (Willoughby, OH) and the visiting Conneaut Spartans (Conneaut, OH), saw Andrews Osborne Academy's soccer squad triumph over Conneaut by a count of 10-1.
The Phoenix (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Grand River Academy (Austinburg, OH). The enter the Independent School battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Grand River Academy notched a victory over Christian Community (North Eaton, OH), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Spartans battle the Lakeside Dragons (Ashtabula, OH) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 24. Conneaut will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Dragons enter the battle with a 2-7 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Bedford (Bedford, OH).
