Ohio High School Soccer - Big Walnut toppled by St. Charles
September 21, 2024: Columbus, OH 43209 St. Charles Cardinals (Columbus, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Big Walnut Golden Eagles (Sunbury, OH), 7-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, St. Charles advances its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH) to clash with the Eagles in a Central Catholic test on Tuesday, September 24. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 5-6. Bishop Watterson won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Upper Arlington (Columbus, OH)
The Golden Eagles now have a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westerville North for a Ohio Capital - Capital test on Thursday, September 26. Big Walnut will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Whetstone (Columbus, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 5-3.
