West Virginia High School Soccer - Keyser toppled by Buckhannon-Upshur
September 21, 2024: Buckhannon, WV 26201 Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Keyser Golden Tornado (Keyser, WV), 6-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Buckhannon-Upshur moves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV) to clash with the Bees in a Big Ten test on Thursday, September 26. The Bees come into the test with a record of 7-0.
The Golden Tornado now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Hill for a non-league test on Monday, September 23. Keyser will clash with a Sentinels team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Bishop Walsh (Cumberland, MD). The Sentinels record now stands at 3-2.
