Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Meadville nudges Girard
September 21, 2024: Girard, PA 16417 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Meadville Bulldogs (Meadville, PA) and the host Girard Yellowjackets (Girard, PA), saw Meadville's soccer squad hold off Girard by a count of 1-0.
The Bulldogs (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Central Tech (Erie, PA). The Falcons enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Central Tech was edged by General McLane (Edinboro, PA), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Harbor Creek Huskies (Harborcreek, PA) in a District 10 Region 3 battle, on Tuesday, September 24. Girard will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Huskies enter the battle with a 6-4 record after their 6-1 league win over Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA).
