Vermont High School Soccer - Rivendell Academy toppled by Green Mountain
September 21, 2024: Chester, VT 05143 Green Mountain Chieftains (Chester, VT) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Rivendell Academy (Orford, NH), 4-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Green Mountain advances its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Chieftains host Twin Valley (Wilmington, VT) to clash with the Wildcats in a SVL-C test on Tuesday, September 24. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 6-1. Twin Valley won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Arlington Memorial (Arlington, VT)
The now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Randolph for a Capital test on Tuesday, September 24. Rivendell Academy will clash with a Ghosts team coming off a 10-3 league win over Bellows Falls (Bellows Falls, VT). The Ghosts record now stands at 4-2.
