New Mexico High School Soccer - Manzano toppled by Mayfield
September 21, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87112 Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Mayfield moves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM) to clash with the Bulldawgs in a 5A District 3 test on Tuesday, September 24. The Bulldawgs come into the test with a record of 4-6. Las Cruces won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM)
The Monarchs now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eldorado for a 5A District 2 test on Wednesday, September 25. Manzano will clash with a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-3.
