Illinois High School Soccer - Normal Community knocks off Quincy Notre Dame
September 21, 2024: Normal, IL 61761 The Normal Community Ironmen soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Quincy Notre Dame Raiders to 1 in the Ironmen non-league victory on Saturday.
The Ironmen now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Danville for a Big Twelve bout on Monday, September 23. Normal Community will play a Vikings squad coming off a 8-3 league loss to Centennial (Champaign, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Quincy Notre Dame moves to 4-8 on the year. The Raiders travel to Normal University (Normal, IL) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 26. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 13-1.
