Kentucky High School Soccer - Whitefield Academy nudges Salem
September 21, 2024: Louisville, KY 40228 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Whitefield Academy Wildcats (Louisville, KY) and the visiting Salem Lions (Salem, IN), saw Whitefield Academy's soccer squad hold off Salem by a count of 1-0.
The Wildcats (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Knox (Fort Knox, KY). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 0-15 record. In their last battle, Fort Knox was edged by Holy Cross (Louisville, KY), 7-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Lions battle the Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 23. Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Bluejackets enter the battle with a 4-3 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Henryville (Henryville, IN).
