September 21, 2024: Jefferson City, MO 65109 Capital City Cavaliers (Jefferson City, MO) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Marceline Tigers (Marceline, MO), 13-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Capital City improves its record to 7-8 on the year. The Cavaliers host Bowling Green (Bowling Green, MO) to play the Bobcats in a non-league game on Wednesday, September 25. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 5-7. Bowling Green lost 12-4 in their recent non-league game against Fort Zumwalt South (St. Peters, MO)
The Tigers now hold a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Blair Oaks for a non-league game on Saturday, September 21. Marceline will play a Falcons squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Ozark (Ozark, MO). The Falcons record now stands at 6-9.
