Oregon High School Volleyball - Bend over Barlow
September 21, 2024: Bend, OR 97701 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Bend Lava Bears (Bend, OR) and the visiting Barlow Bruins (Gresham, OR), observed Bend's volleyball team top Barlow by a tally of 2-0.
The Lava Bears (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Grants Pass (Grants Pass, OR). The Cavemen enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Grants Pass beat Willamette (Eugene, OR), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Bruins meet the Gresham Gophers (Gresham, OR) in a 6A Mt. Hood contest, on Tuesday, September 24. Barlow will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Gophers enter the contest with a 5-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Central Catholic (Portland, OR).
