September 21, 2024: Valley, AL 36854 Central of Clay County Volunteers (Lineville, AL) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Beulah Bobcats (Valley, AL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Central of Clay County advances its record to 4-8 on the season. The Volunteers host Horseshoe Bend (New Site, AL) to face the Generals in a non-league test on Monday, September 23. The Generals go into the test with a record of 9-2. Horseshoe Bend won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Wadley (Wadley, AL)
The Bobcats now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenwood for a 3A Area 6 test on Monday, September 23. Beulah will face a Gators squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over LaGrange (LaGrange, GA). The Gators record now stands at 12-11.
