With the win, Grayson County advances its record to 8-7 on the season. The Cougars travel to South Laurel (London, KY) to face the Cardinals in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 3-8. South Laurel lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY)
The Comets now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Macon County for a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. Carlisle County will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Liberty Creek (Gallatin, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 2-10.
