The Lincoln Hornets volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Central Spartans to 1 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hornets now possess a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Grossmont for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 21. Lincoln will play a Foothillers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Pacific Ridge (Carlsbad, CA). The Foothillers record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Central drops to 23-11 on the campaign. The Spartans host Holtville (Holtville, CA) to play the Vikings in a Imperial Valley outing on Tuesday, September 24. The Vikings come into the outing with a record of 12-10.
