September 21, 2024: Millbrook, AL 36054 Central Red Devils (Phenix City, AL) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Stanhope Elmore Mustangs (Millbrook, AL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Central advances its record to 12-9 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Beauregard (Opelika, AL) to face the Hornets in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 10-3. Beauregard lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Elmore County (Eclectic, AL)
The Mustangs now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montgomery Academy for a 6A Area 4 test on Tuesday, September 24. Stanhope Elmore will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 28-2.
