The Gunnison Cowboys prevailed the host Rye Thunderbolts volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Cowboys confront the North Fork Miners (Hotchkiss, CO) in a 3A Western Slope game, on Thursday, September 26. Gunnison will attempt to advance on its 10-2 season record. The Miners enter the game with a 4-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Basalt (Basalt, CO).

The Thunderbolts (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Fowler (Fowler, CO). The Grizzlies enter the 2A Santa Fe game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Fowler was dropped by Hoehne (Hoehne, CO), 3-1, in a league game.
