September 21, 2024: Lone Tree, IA 52755 North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Lone Tree Lions (Lone Tree, IA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, North Cedar advances its record to 4-10 on the season. The Knights host Marquette (Bellevue, IA) to face the Defenders in a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. The Defenders go into the test with a record of 2-5. Marquette won 3-1 in their recent league test against Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA)
The Lions now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Valley Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. Lone Tree will face a Huskies squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 0-9.
