California High School Volleyball - Mt. Whitney can't get by Woodlake
September 21, 2024: Woodlake, CA 93286 Woodlake Tigers (Woodlake, CA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Woodlake advances its record to 6-12 on the season. The Tigers travel to Granite Hills (Porterville, CA) to face the Grizzlies in a East Sequoia- Sequoia test on Tuesday, September 24. The Grizzlies go into the test with a record of 5-12. Granite Hills won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Orosi (Orosi, CA)
The Pioneers now sport a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tulare Western for a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. Mt. Whitney will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Justin Garza (Fresno, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-13.
