September 21, 2024: Pikeville, KY 41501 Shelby Valley Wildcats (Pikeville, KY) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Owensboro Catholic Aces (Owensboro, KY), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Shelby Valley advances its record to 17-7 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY) to face the Bobcats in a non-league test on Monday, September 23. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 6-3.
The Aces now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Green County for a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. Owensboro Catholic will face a Dragons squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, KY). The Dragons record now stands at 7-7.
