With the win, Vernonia improves its record to 3-6 on the season. The Loggers host Southwest Christian (Beaverton, OR) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 21. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 7-2.
The Pirates now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis Academy for a 1A Casco battle on Tuesday, September 24. Perrydale will encounter a Watchmen squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Falls City/Kings Valley Charter (Falls City, OR). The Watchmen record now stands at 5-7.
